East Nashville Guide
How to spend the day in East Nashville! Here's our guide to local shopping, coffee, food and music.

Welcome to the neighborhood!
This neighborhood has so many amazing small businesses. We hope you'll visit East Nashville Books, a used bookstore in Cleveland Park, as well as some of our friends!

Coffee! Where is the coffee?
If you're staying nearby, start the day with an easy walk over to Forevermore for coffee or the best iced matcha around. The shop is full of fun gifts and local goods so you can sneak in shopping early and often.
Driving down Dickerson Pike? Make a stop at Retrograde Coffee and grab a seat on the patio and people watch as East Nashville starts to wake up.

Classic Southern Breakfast
We're so lucky to be right across the street from an East Nashville institution, Shugga Hi Bakery & Cafe! We love their breakfast buffet and their classic Chicken & Waffles, but what really sets this place apart is the feeling of family when you walk in the door. This is a place built for the community and loved by the community.

Where to shop in East Nashville
We have no shortage of amazing shops and retailers around here. Some of our nearby favorites include The Green Ray for the best curation of art and gifts, A Shop of Things to indulge your kitschy side, plus Talk Nice Shop and Torres Vintage for for the best styles in vintages clothes.

What about the music?
Now for the whole reason you're here (maybe?) - the Nashville music scene. Stop by Fanny's House of Music to shop guitars then head to The Groove to pick up new records and talk shop with the staff. End the night at DRKMTTR to discover your new favorite band.
Enjoy the day! It's hard not to stumble onto great vibes here, so you really can't go wrong.
Thank you and hope to see you soon!
